RICHARD A. BLACK, M.D.

Dr. Black completed his residency in Diagnostic Imaging at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Black completed his fellowship in cross-sectional imaging including Ultrasound, CT and image guided interventions, at the Hospital of St. Raphael -Yale University. He later went on to acquire additional training in MRI at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Black serves as the Chairman of Diagnostic Imaging at the new state-of-the-art Imaging Center at South County Hospital and is Director of Computed Tomography (CT).

Dr. Black is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, Rhode Island Radiological Society, and the Rhode Island Medical Society.
